At the end of his tenure with Security Pacific National Bank, Brodie Cobb struck a partnership with several fellow professional sailors to found a team to compete in the America’s Cup, one of the world’s premiere sailing races. Two years later, the syndicate Brodie Cobb founded went on to win the America’s Cup, a testament to his drive and dedication.
Between 1992 and 1995, Brodie Cobb continued to expand upon his expertise in finance at First Boston Corporation, followed by a period in investment banking at Montgomery Securities. He left Montgomery Securities in 1997 to found The Presidio Group, which he has since built into a leading financial advisory firm.
